REEL LEARNING

Durango Film has been bringing educational and creative films to students and teachers in the Ignacio and Durango school districts for the past 18 years as part of our REEL Learning School Program. In 2020, Bayfield Intermediate School participated in the program for the first time. In 2020, the program reached a record 2,505 students. Our goal is to offer the program to any classrooms in La Plata County who wish to participate. The program went completely virtual in 2021 and partially virtual in 2022 and 2023. The 2023 program reached 1,884 students in schools and virtually in classrooms. A REEL Learning school program report may be available upon request following each year’s program.
